About the Masterclass
As part of the Amrut Manthan Series, the Society for Equitable Access to Students (GLC SEAS) conducted a LEXCRAFT Masterclass on the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (SARFAESI) Act.
As per the official notice, the workshop was titled “SARFAESI Act: A Critical Analysis and Practical Insights for Law Students.” The session aimed to enhance students’ practical understanding of the SARFAESI Act, with particular emphasis on its application, interpretation, and implications in banking and financial law.
Who the Masterclass Was For
As communicated in the notice:
Attendance was compulsory for students from V–V and III–III who had opted for the Banking and Negotiable Instruments Act optional subject.
Students who had not opted for the said optional subject were encouraged to attend for a comprehensive understanding of this important statute and its practical implications.
Students from other law colleges were welcomed to attend subject to availability of space. Registration was compulsory.
Session Format and Assessment
The workshop was followed by a short assessment test, as per the structure communicated:
The workshop was to be followed by an optional MCQ-based assessment.
Participants who did not appear for the assessment were to receive a Certificate of Participation.
Students securing at least 60% marks in the assessment were to be awarded a Certificate of Merit.
